First Year Experience and Undergraduate Persistence |
First Year Experience & Undergraduate Persistence (FYE-UP) assists students in their
transition through their academic and co-curricular experiences by connecting them
to institutional resources and personnel. FYE-UP encourages students to identify as
members of the Webster community and as global citizens.

Attention incoming Gorloks:
We are excited for you to join the Gorlok family and orientation is the start of the journey. Orientation is required for all incoming fall admitted first year students and is designed to provide you with information about academic resources, campus resources, student life, safety, and much more!
Due to the ongoing concerns of COVID-19, we have decided it is in the best interest of our incoming students and their families to transition all new student orientation sessions from in-person experiences to a virtual format. This Online New Student Orientation Experience is replacing the traditional Welcome Weekend Experience that normally happens this time of year. Your safety and well-being are our main priority. We also realize that these are unprecedented times filled with dynamic changes. We want to keep you as informed as possible regarding your virtual orientation, we will be updating our website with helpful information throughout the coming weeks.
Students and their Families should have received an email about the new online format. The following link will take you to your Online New Student Orientation Experience: https://orientation.webster.edu
We know you are excited to start connecting with other students and we are expanding opportunities for you to virtually interact with other Gorloks throughout the summer. If you have questions or need assistance, please contact us at welcome@webster.edu or call 314-246-2598.
Thank you and GO LOKS!!!
